The El Cortez Hotel's 300 comfortable guest rooms and suites are situated in a 14 story tower and a walk-up level above the casino level. The hotel’s Ogden House Hotel, next to the main tower, houses an additional 100 guest rooms. Amenities include air conditioning, cable television, hair dryer, clock radio, shower/tub combination, refrigerator, Internet access, complimentary toiletries, iron and ironing board, and a telephone with voicemail.

The El Cortez Casino offers 45,000 square feet of gaming space complete with over 1,000 slot machines, 20 table games, and a sports book. Known as the “place to play slots,” the casino slots vary from penny machines to $5 machines. There’s also video poker, video keno, video reels, and multi-game machines. Table games include poker, blackjack, roulette, craps, Pai Gow, 3 Card Poker, and Mini Baccarat. The casino was voted 2005 and 2006 “Best of Las Vegas Keno for variety: there are 12 different pay rates or five special tickets to choose from. |
