The Lakeside Inn has 124 guestrooms divided between three two-story shingled buildings; each building is named for a local landmark. Two of the buildings, Marla Bay and Glenbrook Lodges offer direct room access from the parking lot. The third building, the Edgewood Lodge has an interior corridor and an elevator. Each room is furnished with local artwork, wood paneling, a rustic-contemporary mountain décor and lodge style furniture. All of the guestrooms have free wireless internet access, air conditioning, coffeemakers, iron and ironing boards, ski racks, blackout drapes, a telephone with voicemail, wake up calls, daily housekeeping, complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer, a clock radio, and cable TV. |

The casino is on the second floor of the main building at the Lakeside Inn, it is an attractive setting for gamblers who have a preference for a low key gambling experience in a less-flashy environment. All of the excitement of the larger resorts is available in a more personal, friendlier atmosphere. The casino features an abundance of slot machines which were voted the “loosest” slots in Tahoe. Also available are Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, a sports book and keno. The experienced staff is more than happy to help answer gaming questions to educate new players. |

A mile down the road is the Gondola at Heavenly, with access to some of the nation’s best downhill skiing.
