Jackpot Deuces - Deuces Wild Progressive Jackpot Poker

Jackpot Deuces is a Progressive Deuces Wild Video Poker game that has the same basic rules of Deuces Wild Video Poker. As with most Progressive Jackpot games, you are only able to collect the progressive jackpot when you are making a bet of 5 coins with each hand, and since the coin size is fixed at One Dollar, the max bet is very affordable at Five Dollars.

As the name suggests, Deuces (Twos) are wild in this video poker game. To begin the game, you will be dealt five cards face up from a deck of 52 cards. You can then choose to hold or discard as many of these five cards as you wish in order to make the best possible winning hand. Payouts are paid on Three of a Kind, Straight, Flush, Full House, Four of a Kind, Straight Flush, 5 of a Kind, Deuces Royal Flush, 4 Deuces and Natural Royal Flush with the payout of 4000 coins for the Natural Royal Flush. In order to win the progressive jackpot, you must be betting Five Coins and make a natural, all Diamond Royal Flush.

While playing Jackpot Deuces, you are offered the choice to bet One to Five Coins per hand, but you must keep in mind that the Progressive Jackpot will only be paid out on a Diamond Royal Flush on a maximum bet of Five Dollars. Also, consider that a Natural Royal Flush on one coin will pay Two Hundred and Fifty Coins but the same hand at the Max bet of Five Coins, will pay you Four Thousand Coins!

Now, when you begin to play Jackpot Deuces, the first thing that you should know is that all four of the Deuces - or twos - in the deck are Wild. This means that they can be used to as any of the other cards in the deck to make a winning hand.

The next thing that should be known about this game would be the Hand Rankings paid for and, of course, their respective payouts. The table below will show each possible winning hand, from greatest to least for the max per hand bet and below that you will find an explanation of each hand.

Diamond Royal Flush (no wilds) - This is a hand consisting of A, K, Q, J, and 10 of the suit of Diamonds, and in this game, will win you the Progressive Jackpot if you hit it while making a Five Coin bet.

Royal Flush (no wilds) - This is a hand consisting of A, K, Q, J, and 10 of any suit other than that of Diamonds.

Four Deuces - Four Twos - the game’s wild cards - in one hand.

Royal Flush w/ Deuces - A Royal Flush (A, K, Q, J, and 10 of the same suit) that contains one or more wild cards within the hand.

Five of a Kind - A hand consisting of any five cards of the same value, and, since there are only four of each value card, this hand is obviously made using at least one wild card.

Straight Flush - Five numerically consecutive cards (for example an 8, 9, 10, J, Q of Spades) of the same suit.

Four of a Kind - A hand containing four cards of the same value, for example, four 3's.

Full House - A hand containing a Three of a kind and a pair, any value, any suit.

Flush - A hand containing any five cards of the same suit, in any order.

Straight - A hand containing any five numerically consecutive cards, of any suit.

Three of a Kind - A hand containing any three cards of the same value.

If you are new to the game of Jackpot Deuces, or other Deuces Wild games, the following information will give you a basic idea of which types of hands you should play and which you should discard.

If your hand contains:

Four Deuces - You should always hold all five cards, without indescribable luck, you will not make a better hand.

Three Deuces - If the other two cards make a Wild Royal Flush or Five of a Kind, hold all five cards. If not, hold only the Deuces.

Two Deuces - If the other cards in your hand make a Four of a Kind or better, keep that hand. If not, hold only the two deuces.

One Deuce - You should hold any winning hand in this instance. However, if you happen to have to a Royal Flush, especially if it is an all Diamond Royal Flush, keep that hand and get rid of the lone wild card. Also, keep in mind that if you have Four Cards to a Straight Flush or Three Cards to a Royal Flush you should always keep that and get rid of the deuce. Any other hand, keep only the wild Card.
